Twin Brothers Hearing 'Jolene' For The First Time Is Terrific

Gary, Indiana brothers Tim and Fred Williams post videos in which they play and react to music on their YouTube channel. The twenty-something twins recently posted their reaction to Dolly Parton's classic hit, Jolene.

Listening to music is such a personal experience. Everyone has their favorite artists, genres, or even instrumental sounds. The following twins gave the world their reaction to a country music standard.

Fred and Tim Williams are 22-year-old twin brothers. According to CNN, they're from Gary, Indiana, and they have a wide variety of opinions. One of their favorite topics is music.

The Williams twins have been posting music reaction videos to their YouTube account. In these videos, they listen to a song and comment on features such as the voice, instrumental parts, and storyline of the song. So far, they've given their impressions of music by a wide range of artists, including Metallica, Blake Shelton, and Prince.

Many subscribers and other viewers send in song ideas for their Twinsthenewtrend YouTube channel through the channel or the brothers' Instagram account by the same name. One such viewer wrote in the comments section of another video that they wanted the twins to review Jolene. The brothers were happy to oblige.

Their reaction to Jolene wasn't the first Dolly Parton song the brothers had posted. The pair had previously given their commentary for another Parton hit, 9 to 5. This video, however, was the twin's debut review of Jolene.

The twins began the video mentioning that this was a viewer request. They also gave the standard YouTube request for subscribers and notifications. Their preliminary conversation ended soon after one of the twins said, "Let's get into this."

As the music begins, the twins start grooving to the beat. Just seconds into the video, one of the twins pauses the song. Then he comments, "I like the fast pace already."

A few more seconds into the recording, the twins are beaming as they do each time this part of the song recurs. And just what is it that is making them smile? Dolly Parton's signature flourish-filled Jolene, of course.

The twins have fallen in love with this song. Both of them even sing Jolene with Dolly throughout the song. They also comment about the "guitar going crazy, too."

Throughout and after the song, the twins also comment on the "story-telling." They retell the story and echo the sentiment that one woman shouldn't steal another woman's man. During their post-song talk, they both shout an enthusiastic, "OK, Dolly!"
