Having a baby is a dream for many women around the globe, and Whitney Bliesner was no exception.

Whitney and her husband wanted desperately to have a child of their own; however, because of a rare genetic disorder that Whitney was diagnosed with when she was in the eighth grade, the hopes of being parents seemed unlikely.

Whitney’s disorder is called neurofibromatosis type 2 or NF2.

This condition causes tumors to form on the brain and spinal cord of individuals. Whitney has battled with many different tumors over the years, resulting in the loss of both her vision and hearing on one side.

Since changes in hormones could cause even more tumors, doctors convinced Whitney that a hysterectomy would be best. She underwent that procedure along with six brain surgeries.

For Whitney and her husband, it appeared that a surrogate was the only answer to their dream of being parents; however, they didn’t have money enough to pay the expensive fees.

Just when things were beginning to look hopeless for Whitney, her twin sister Jill Noe stepped in to offer her help.

Jill, a former Arizona State University basketball player, told Whitney that she would be willing to become a surrogate for her sister, carrying the children of her twin.

Jill, a former Arizona State University basketball player, told Whitney that she would be willing to become a surrogate for her sister, carrying the children of her twin. She broke the news through a Christmas gift exchange of stocking stuffers; offering her twin one of the greatest opportunities – the chance to be a mom.

Whitney and her husband were absolutely thrilled and took Jill up on her offer. While the initial round of IVF didn’t work, the sisters tried again and gained success through the second procedure.

Whitney was going to be a mom!

But the good news didn’t end there. Jill became pregnant with not one child but two babies. Jill was carrying Whitney’s twins – both a girl and a boy.

Whitney and Jill explain that the entire situation has brought them even closer together, and Whitney reports that her sister has been great throughout the pregnancy. In the video, we see the two women working together to prepare the nursery for the upcoming arrival of the newest twins.
