If you love and spoil your pets, it’s hard for you to imagine others that don’t treat their animals as kindly.

However, we hear stories about animal neglect and cruelty each day and it seems like the problem will never fully go away.

Thankfully, many of these stories culminate in happy endings that result in the animals finding new forever homes.

These two beagles got their happily ever after, despite being put into a quite the dangerous situation at the hands of their owner. But one man saved the day for these two dogs.

The two beagles, named Trooper and Adam, are an adorable bonded pair of dogs. According to CBS, one day, while a truck driver was driving down Interstate 81, located in New York, he noticed a car in front of him toss these two dogs out of their moving vehicle!

The man couldn’t believe what he saw, but he called the police to alert them of what had just happened. Thankfully, the beagles were able to be rescued just in time before they got hurt any worse than they already had been.

The Broome County Humane Society decided to take care of the dogs and work on healing them so they could be put up for adoption.

They needed a lot of rehabilitation and care. One of the dogs, Trooper, had injuries that were so terrible that he ended up having to get one of his legs amputated. Thankfully, the pair were able to recover in peace with the help of the staff of the rescue center, and they’ll now be able to get their happy ending.

After people heard about what happened to the two loving dogs, over 100 people sent in applications to adopt them! Trooper and Adam will now be going home together with a wonderful couple named Connie and Roger Miller. They stated that as soon as they met the dogs, they knew that they were meant to have them.

Connie told the Inside Edition:

"As soon as we walked into the room we knew, they were going home. If we were prepared, we would have taken them home last night"

It’s bittersweet for members of the rescue to see these dogs go, as they were such a treat to work with and take care of, but everyone is happy that they finally found a forever home that will love and cherish them the way they should be treated.
