There are very few ingredients used to make this delightful brownie that combines a few of the traditional fall flavors together into one dish.

You'll need fresh apples, cinnamon, butter, and brown sugar as the basic ingredients for the brownie.

Mix everything together in a large bowl to make a batter. Pour the batter into a dish that you would use to bake brownies. Wait about 30 minutes to check your dessert. The size of the chunks of apples that you used will determine the length of time that it takes for your brownies to get done.

When you take your brownies out of the oven, there are a few things that you could do with them. Cut a square or two and top it off with vanilla ice cream, watching as the creamy goodness melts over the sides of the brownies. You can also decorate your brownies with icing in fall colors. Another option is to enjoy a warm brownie with a cup of hot apple cider.

The texture of your brownies will likely be a little dense because of the heavier ingredients that are used, such as the brown sugar. However, the color of your brownies won't be as dark as you would see in a traditional brownie because of the lack of cocoa powder.

This is a recipe that you can easily change to create the dessert that you want. If you want a bit of tang in each bite, then use Granny Smith apples. You could also add more cinnamon if you want more spice. Add applesauce for a moist brownie treat. You could even add nuts to your batter before baking your sweet treats! The ideas are endless as you work on combining the ingredients that you want to try.
