Tourist In China Breaks Jade Bracelet By Mistake, Passes Out After Learning It's Worth $44,000

If you ever find yourself in a store that sells expensive items, it might be advisable to be very careful. Imagine how much money you’d have to pay if you broke an item … or worse if it turns out you don’t have the money to compensate for it.

Unfortunately, this is exactly what recently happened to a woman in China. According to the Daily Mail, the female tourist was strolling through a jade market in Ruili City, in the western part of Yunnan Province, China.

That’s when she saw a beautiful jade bracelet and wanted to try it on. But the bracelet accidentally slipped from her wrist and fell to the floor where it broke into two halves. 

The woman later went on to check the bracelet's price tag and realized that it was worth $44,000. After learning about the bracelet's value the woman was so shocked that she fainted.
