"The Voice UK" gives hopeful singers and musicians the chance to shine. Like the US version of the talent show, it puts singers on stage in front of a panel of judges. In this episode, the judges also entered into a battle as Tom Jones challenged Jennifer Hudson to a sing-off and the result was spectacular.

The show often gives a peek into the contestants' worlds. They might talk about their backgrounds or why they chose to perform a certain song. The contestants aren't the only entertainers there, though. Between acts, the judges add another layer of fun by trading jokes and barbs. Things get especially heated when they're competing for contestants.

This season, the judges – or coaches, as they're called on "The Voice" – consisted of Jennifer Hudson, Olly Murs, Sir Tom Jones, and Will.i.am. When Olly Murs said he wanted to see Jennifer Hudson and Sir Tom Jones in a sing-off, it was on.

At first, Jennifer protested, saying she couldn't battle the legendary Tom Jones. She soon gave in, and an epic performance commenced. Jones picked "It's a Man's Man's Man's World" and started things off. After he finished the first lines, Jennifer followed up with the next few.

Back and forth they went, whipping the audience into a frenzy with each line and breathing new life into the classic song. By the end, Jennifer Hudson brought the audience and even the other judges to their feet with her powerhouse voice.

It was one of the best moments in the show's history. It also showed how important it is to have talented, seasoned artists as coaches for the contestants. With singers like this on their side, how could they not succeed?

If you had to choose any singers in the world to battle each other in a sing-off, who would you choose? Let us know in the comments and pass this along to your friends and family to see what they think!
