Tom Brady Faces Backlash For Jumping Off Cliff With His Young Daughter In Viral Video

Six-time super bowl champ Tom Brady may have countless fans on the field but while off of it the quarterback has recently suffered some backlash for his parenting style. Brady shared a video of he and his daughter jumping off a cliff and some users weren't too happy about it. 

Brady and his family were vacationing at their home in Costa Rica according to Inside Edition before the athlete posted a video of he and his six-year-old daughter Vivian climbing up a cliff of a waterfall to jump off. 

In the video, you can see Vivian take Brady's hand as they prepare to jump; however, it seems at the last second Vivian changes her mind about jumping off the steep cliff but her father doesn't let go and pulls her down with him.

They land in the water with both of them popping their heads up to the surface. Brady wrote alongside the Instagram video,

"If Vivi is going to be an Olympic champion one day, it probably won’t be in synchronized diving. Daddy always gives her a 10 though!"

The video has sparked reactions among many users, it has been viewed more than three million times. 

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson replied to Brady's video on Instagram saying, "

You KNOW I have complete faith in you as a man, friend, player and father - but this just gave me anxiety. Geeezus."

Another user said,

"OMG! How irresponsible is that... poor baby, she wasn't even ready to jump!"

Others didn't see an issue with the star's video, with many high profile celebrities like Stephen Curry and rapper Diddy sending laughing faces under the posted video. Fellow retired football star, Brett Farve commented,

"She is a 10 but old dad gets a👎."
