Toddler’s Reaction To Meeting Baby Brother For The First Time Has Us All Cracking Up

Jun 26, 2019 by apost team

A new brother or sister can be a major adjustment for a toddler; while the parents and family are over-the-moon, a sibling can quickly feel left-out or jealous of the new baby. Although we sympathize with the little ones, we can't help but laugh at some of their reactions to meeting their new sibling for the first time.

One little girl named Ella is making rounds on the internet after her reaction to meeting her new baby brother was captured on camera. Ella sits on the couch, arms out, and ready to embrace the baby. It's her expression that has everyone who watches the video cracking up. Ella couldn't look less enthusiastic about the new addition if she tried.

Ella's mom sits next to her, offering plenty of reassurance and kisses on the baby's head, but the toddler is unmoved. She stares emptily into the camera in front of her, not at all impressed with the new baby in her arms.

"What do you think, sweetie?" Ella's dad asks. Ella glances at her brother, then back at the camera. Her silence speaks for itself. Ella's mom tries to jump in and show her how to greet the baby. She shows her daughter how to give him a kiss "like your baby dolls," she says, but Ella doesn't budge. Although this will become a fond memory for the family later, it's clearly one of Ella's least favorite moments captured on camera for all to see.

You'll have to watch the reaction yourself in the video below. It's been shared in good fun, and hopefully, it will help make some parents feel better if their own child doesn't welcome their new baby sibling with open arms and smiles.
