Toddler Walks Up To Baby Gorilla, Gets A Bit Too Close And Has Parents Laughing Hysterically

One thing that’s great about toddlers is they don’t hold back and are usually friendly with everyone. And the friendliness doesn’t stop with humans but continues to the animal world too.

Isaiah is no exception. When Isaiah was taken to the Columbus Zoo, he learned a lesson of friendship. His eyes lit up while he was enjoying everything the zoo had to offer, and it was caught on camera. It’s almost magical watching a toddler see things that they haven’t seen before. You can see Isaiah start giggling as he sees the little gorilla.

He was standing right next to the glass and just happened to be the same height as Isaiah. This is when Isaiah started to walk over to him. You could tell he wanted the gorilla to be his friend. Kamoli was just as curious about Isaiah. Being so similar to humans, they started to connect. They locked eyes and then looked each other over. Kamoli didn’t turn away or want to. He wasn’t really alone as his mom sat on a branch above watching every move.

Kamoli started playing a game of peek-a-boo from behind the barrier, he ran back and forth between it while Isaiah ran after him. As soon as Isaiah would come to one side, Kamoli would switch to the other. You could hear Isaiah's parents laughing and cheering them on. Eventually, the pair got worn out and it was time to go, Isaiah's mom told The Columbus Dispatch, Isaiah said, "Bye gorilla."
