Toddler Meets Twins For First Time And His Reaction Cracks Up Netizens Worldwide

Have you ever seen double of something and had to do a double-take? Sometimes, strange things can throw us off and we are left wondering about what exactly we saw. There are always reasons for seeing two of something; our eyes may have been unfocused, or we may have not looked correctly, or sometimes, there's just two of something! 

Think of this example: you're walking on the street and smile at someone who passes you by, and a minute later, the same person seems to walk by you again. It may feel like deja vu and you may become confused, but then you realize that a pair of twins probably walked past and things suddenly make sense. 

One toddler had a similar reaction to seeing twins for the first time and his reaction was beyond cute. Toddlers in general are delightful, and the way they experience their surroundings can be hilarious. After all, they are adjusting to the new environment they are thrust into, and getting used to what the world is like isn't easy. 

Sometimes they say something that's just adorable and other times they do something funny and charming. Either way, it is great to capture these moments on video, like this footage of a little brother seeing his twin sisters for the first time back in 2014. Little Landon just looked completely confused by what was happening around him. He was suddenly seeing double but couldn't understand why! We can’t seem to trace the origin of the video but we found it on the internet and loved it! Most of us probably don't remember when we were first introduced to our siblings, especially if we were extremely young when our siblings were born. Our parents no doubt remember our reactions, or maybe there are some photos of the introductions but most kids don't have any idea what is going on. If there is a funny story behind these interactions, we are reminded of it by doting parents who love to get a laugh every now and then about how cute their kids used to be.

Today, thanks to the power of technology, we are able to share the hilarious moment when siblings first meet and everything that follows. Lots of videos on the internet are dedicated solely to kids reacting to their newborn brothers and sisters, and they are always a hit with netizens. 

The video below shows viewers how toddler Landon reacts to meeting his twin sisters for the first time. His sisters are placed on either side of him, and as he is sitting between these newborn twins, Landon seemed confused, as if asking, "What on earth is going on here?" Seeing this from a toddler's point of view is somewhat understandable; Landon probably doesn't understand the concept of twins just yet, and especially with the case of identical twins, Landon couldn't quite understand how two of the same babies were on either side of him. His face is truly priceless as he tries to take in everything!

The confusion is even more prominent when he sees how differently the two babies are reacting to sitting next to him: while one seems unfazed and calm, the other baby is crying loudly and is not a happy camper. His family is watching the whole thing play out, as can be heard from the delighted laughter of a group of people in the background. Landon does his best to understand the situation he is in but when all else fails, he then turns to his parents for help. His face is now thoroughly baffled, and Landon's reaction is hilarious to watch for everyone in the room. 

Landon keeps looking from side to side for a while longer before the video ends, which probably says that one of the parents stepped in to help Landon as well as his sisters become more comfortable. This is a moment that will be remembered for a long time for Landon's family, and it is wonderful that the video is online for so many people to enjoy!

This video was uploaded all the way back in 2014, which means that both Landon and his sister are significantly older today. Landon could be around eight or nine years old and his sisters may be around six or seven years olds. While there have been no follow-up videos or any updates on where these adorable kids are today, we are grateful that this video has been saved into the internet vault. It's possible that Landon and his sisters chance upon the video one day and have a laugh at this reaction as well! 

There is another variation in the combination of confused toddlers and twins which involves adorable little ones and their twin parents. Much like how Landon was confused by seeing two of the same person, little kids get confused when they see two of their parents and can't figure out which one is their actual parent. A whole bunch of videos of this happening can be seen on sites like Youtube, and they are worth a watch as well. 

One of the most well-known videos of this happening is this one, where the father has an identical twin and the sweet little baby cannot figure out who her actual "dada" is. Both men are dressed differently and are wearing different types of glasses, but their faces are, of course, exactly the same. So when the little girl sees her father behind her, she stretches to go back to him. She then sees the other "dada" and wants to go back to him. All the while, the family is entertained by these antics. 

For the next part of the trick, one of the "dadas" pulls off the other's glasses, and when she is asked "Who is that?" she says, "Dada!" and goes back to him. Then the remaining twin takes off his glasses as well, which makes the little girl think that he is her father. This back and forth continues, and each time she looks behind her, she thinks that is her dada and has both twins in peals of laughter. 

It just goes to show that toddlers and twins make a great combination for a funny and memorable video!
