Toddler Celebrates Eleven Months Cancer-Free In Adorable Dance Video With Father

It seems dancing is the easiest way to celebrate good news, and Kenny Clutch and his son know the best way to do that.

New Jersey resident Kenny “Clutch” Thomas spends his days motivating and inspiring people in life when he is not dancing. When he is not working, he is home being a father. And as his Instagram demonstrates, the father of four loves his children and family life. His profile is full of photos and videos of his children, but one video from last year spread across the internet garnering media attention. It was a video of Kenny and his youngest son Kristian dancing in joy and happiness after learning that Kristian was 11 months cancer free.

Kristian suffers from Down Syndrome, according to Pix 11 News. At one year, the youngest in a family of four was diagnosed with leukemia. After the diagnosis, young Kristian soldiered through the cancer treatment, and he emerged victorious after several rounds of treatment. 11 months later, Kenny is still elated by the news that his patience wouldn’t let him wait to celebrate the first anniversary.

A month to Kristian’s first year cancer-free, Kenny took to Instagram to celebrate the health of his son in an inspiring father-son video. He wrote, “Father-Son chemistry 11 Months Cancer Free!! If we can do it you can do it!! Live Free!” He followed the post with a blue heart and fire emoji, perhaps to show love and the fire to show the fight that Kristian has had to go through. The hashtags on the post were about Kristian fighting cancer. These two added to the beauty of the dance.

In the inspiring video, Kenny sits behind the standing Kristian as they dance to a song by Lil Mama. Kristian dances wearing a victorious smile on his face as his dad helps him move his hips in a happy dance. Kenny joins Kristian in the dance with his face lit up in a smile. He enjoys dancing with Kristian who seems to stop mid dancing to look at his dad.

Kristian bursts into an erratic dance, stop midway, and then continues to dance again as he wags his hands. His dad brings rhythm to the dance and it looks so synchronized that one would think Kristian is a professional dancer like his father.
