Sometimes you need a little silliness to take the edge off. This might be especially true when giving birth.

A new mom has her family to thank for lightening the mood during the birth of her first child. Prior to the big moment, this sweet video shows a mom laying on her back in a hospital bed eagerly anticipating the arrival of her baby. Also in the room with the mom are the dad, the staff of doctors and nurses, as well as the baby's uncle, aunt, and grandma. It was quite the support system standing in place ready to do their part to help the baby enter the world.

The soon-to-be dad took the lead in creating a fun atmosphere in the hospital room. It was obvious that he was excited and the fun really began when he encouraged his wife to "push it real good."

Suddenly, the uncle begins making a series of beatbox sounds. The next thing you know, the whole family is rocking out to the classic 1980s hit by Salt-n-Pepa, "Push It." Even grandma got in on the performance, clearly enjoying the moment with her family.

No truer words have ever been spoken as the mom used the song as motivation to continue the labor process. Unfortunately, the little girl was not born during the song. But what a fun moment for this family, welcoming a new member into their fold with much love and humor.

Now you too can be a part of this magical birthing moment. Be sure to check out this video and then pass it on to your friends and family so that everyone else can see this touching and hilarious video.
