Tiny Kitten Finally Wins Over German Shepherd’s Heart

Introducing the family dog to a new pet can be a scary process, but the relationship between ginger kitten Bleu and German Shepherd Beck has gone from strength to strength since they met around two years ago.

So much so that their developing bond, chronicled here on video, has attracted millions of views on social media.

At first, Beck was very apprehensive about Bleu. The large dog watched from a distance while the kitten bounced wildly around the house and then went to sleep in his carrier. They even made the news here at Dogblogzone.

With some time and patience, Beck began to warm up toward Bleu. He would watch the little kitten enjoying his time in his cat pen and seemed to want to be friends. When Bleu started to play with Beck, swatting at his ears, the German Shepherd started to hope that he might be able to form a friendship.

Before long, the friendly banter between the two animals had developed into a warmth. Beck would let Bleu swat at him and then Beck would nudge the frisky paw with his nose. They didn’t just keep their friendship inside; when they were out in the grass, they would run together, taking turns chasing each other and checking out their surroundings.

Bleu and Beck were finally inseparable with the two animals so close that they didn’t want to spend a minute apart. Even when they were napping, Bleu would snuggle up with his large friend.

Now, Bleu is no longer a kitten. In fact, he’s growing into quite a large cat. But he and his doggy companion have managed to keep their close friendship all this time. While Bleu is the wild card of the pair, Beck is gentle and takes everything with a grain of salt.

We’re sure that Beck and Bleu’s human parents are absolutely thrilled with their close bond. You can watch the friendship grow between the two animals thanks to this video, which has had over 17 million views.
