Tiny Kid Becomes Star Of The Show As He Busts Out Dance Moves At Concert

When you head to a local concert, you can pretty much guarantee that you will catch a lot of people dancing. After all, isn’t that what a concert is all about? Getting up, singing, dancing and generally having a good time is why millions of people buy tickets to see their favorite singers or groups in action. It’s a great time to show off your voice and your moves!

There are many concerts that end up having just as much action offstage as there is onstage. People dancing and singing in their seats or in the aisles at shows are often caught on video and put online.

It is easy for one little video to go viral once a few people have seen it, especially when it involves a child. That was the case for this adorable show-stopper!

A little boy found himself right in the spotlight at a Pikeville, Kentucky, Rascal Flatts show in February 2013. Not only did he upstage the band for a couple of moments, but he has also been stealing the show online. Since Kirsten LeAnn uploaded the clip of this boy in 2013, it has accumulated more than 14 million views and more than 2,000 comments.

You can’t help but fall in love with his upbeat attitude and cute little dance.

It’s pretty easy to get excited when LMFAO’s “Sexy and I Know It” comes on, and this little boy knew that he had to get up and shake it for the crowd when they played it at the concert.

While the video’s title and description say that this was at a Rascal Flatts concert, we can be fairly sure that the Flatts, a country band, weren’t playing “Sexy and I Know It.” Instead, it was likely during the waiting period before the Flatts’ performance.

We might even say that this little boy “opened” for the Flatts, as he certainly put on his own performance.

You can even see the big smile on his face, as he seems to love the fact that everyone is digging his cute little moves! He doesn’t stop, either. This little kid dances for a good two to three minutes, and the crowd never stops cheering him on! That’s what we call amazing.

What makes the video even better is that whoever was controlling the lighting at the show took notice of this boy’s moves and began to shine the spotlight and a series of colorful strobes on the young man’s impromptu performance. 

“That little dude was having the time of his life and so was the crowd watching him. Kudos to the person on the lights,” YouTube viewer Robert Trepagnier commented.

“How lovely. He has some brilliant moves, very few children his age are as good as him...and he's in time to the music and the beat. I also love the encouragement from the crowd who are lapping it up,” Bridget Doman added.

The original uploader even chimed in a year ago, commenting on the video’s enduring popularity on YouTube.

“So glad to see this is still bringing many smiles across the world! It was definitely something I'll never forget. I'm sure he will never forget it either!” LeAnn wrote.

In another viral video, an adorable baby shows off at a Scottish wedding in 2009, channeling the Rascal Flatts boy’s energy and talent.

At the start of the video, a young boy named Ryan stands still and waves his hands to the beat of the music. He stands near a table filled with ladies who are laughing happily and cheering him on as he dances. His precious arm-waving gets a little faster as he becomes aware of all of the attention he’s getting. The entire time he dances, Ryan has a stoic look on his face, which pairs well with his traditional Highland garb.

The boy is dressed in a white button-down shirt, black bow-tie and the tiniest kilt that you’ve ever seen. When the music begins to pick up tempo, Ryan responds by bobbing his head up and down while he continues to wave his arms as fast as he can. He even bounces up and down a little bit, really giving the surprise dance performance his all. Numerous cameras are flashing as the wedding-goers rush to capture the precious moment.

The sight of Ryan dressed so adorably and getting his groove on has captured the attention of the world. The video of the young boy dancing in his kilt has over 3 million views on YouTube. One commenter writes, “He is adorable, and he loves the music...bless his beautiful little heart.”

Another person added, “What an amazing sense of rhythm for one so young. He even copied almost immediately with the change of tempo!”

Whether it’s at a Rascal Flatts concert or a traditional Scottish wedding, one thing is for sure: the internet loves when toddlers dance!
