Tim Conway Has Passed Away, World Is Grieving The Loss Of Legendary Actor and Comedian

Americans are devastated about the death of American actor, comedian, and writer Tim Conway. His representative, Howard Bragman, confirmed Conway passed away on May 14, 2019.

Tim Conway had been suffering from Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH) before he passed away at the age of 85.

Everyone that held him dear to their hearts, his family, his friends and all of his fans have been struggling to accept the impending loss of Conway since learning of his worsening health in August.

Every week, Conway used to make the whole nation shed tears of laughter with his appearances on the “The Carol Burnett Show". But when the cast of the show celebrated a big reunion in December 2017, Conway was missing, leaving his fans worried about his state of health.

Apart from his performances in “The Carol Burnett Show", Conway also played the clumsy Ensign Charles Parker on “McHale’s Navy” in the 60s, a role that he will always be remembered for.

As years went by, Conway made guest appearances on many popular television shows. Just to name a few of them: “Two and a Half Men,” “30 Rock,” or “Glee.”

Beyond that, Conway lent his voice to various animation characters. He brought “Barnacle Boy” on “Spongebob Squarepants” to life and voiced a number of characters on “The Simpsons.”

When Conway started his career in Hollywood, he had no professional training and had actually never gone to acting school. But his raw and natural talent for comedy got adored all over America. 

On an episode of “The Interviews: An Oral History of Television" in 2004, Conway specified: “I had a sense of humor and had been in front of a microphone.

Conway's ability to get families to cuddle up in front of the television to spend a night filled with laughter is probably the greatest gift he has given our nation. Everybody was welcome, his comedy was appropriate for all ages, so no one had to be left out.

Conway was an incredibly talented artist and a truly hilarious soul – he will be greatly missed!
