The Kinu Liutas Kennel in Kyiv, Ukraine breeds Tibetan Mastiffs, an exotic type of dog which starts at $10,000 per puppy. While they aren't that common, you can spot a Tibetan Mastiff based on its bear-like appearance, which they get thanks to their large size and fluffy coat.

Kinu Liutas Kennels is run by Aleksandr and Nina Khilyk in Ukraine. The pair mainly chooses to produce a breed called the Tibetan Mastiff. The Tibetan Mastiff is an ancient breed that resembles a small bear.

This breed was developed centuries ago in olden Tibet for use as guard dogs for property and livestock, according to the American Tibetan Mastiff Association. They are known for their guardian instincts, though while they may seem ferocious upon initial contact, these dogs are very easy to warm up to.

These dogs have extremely large frames and very hairy coats. As Nina says in the below video, "The Tibetan Mastiff is one of the most ancient breeds in the world. They're flawless guards, excellent friends, and companions. Kinu Liutas is the most unique breeding ground in the world. It has something no other place has. It has a dog of your dreams."

Tibetan Mastiffs can grow as tall as a whopping 26 inches, according to AKC. The largest dog at Kinu Liutas is even taller than that, coming in at nearly 30 inches tall, according to Nina. Mastiffs are known for being bold, strong-willed, stubborn, intelligent, and very protective. These dogs are extremely good with families and get along well with children and other dogs. They are easy to train and active based on your schedule.

Kini Liutas prides itself on giving the best care to its dogs, and as such, this kennel is like no ordinary kennel. The building comes equipped with a doggy bathroom, training room, puppy room, and soon, a swimming pool dedicated to the dogs. In the Khilk's four-story home, an entire floor has been dedicated solely to the dogs.

The pair says that they breed dogs as a hobby, yet they have managed to successfully create a business. Not one of their dogs has ever been sold for less than $10,000.

While the pair has gained a lot of money through their hobby, they find pleasure in simply owning these exotic dogs. Aleksandr explains further,

"When you come home from work and 100 kilos of joy runs towards you and push you onto the floor and you can't get up. Then three more happy little puppies join him—that's the happiness."
