In a video from 2014, 3-year-old Charlotte in Hong Kong impresses viewers as she plays Allegretto in F by J.C.F. Bach. Despite her age, Charlotte has wowed those who have seen her with her incredible piano skills.

Charlotte was enrolled at Do Re Mi Music Therapy Center in Hong Kong. Based on how Charlotte plays piano, it was certainly a smart move to give this little girl piano lessons, even at the age of just three years old.

Although Charlotte wanted to sing 'Happy Birthday' for the woman behind the camera, she obliged to the request to play something else. The precious toddler can be seen approaching her beloved black piano, sitting on the bench, and abiding by instructions from a woman behind the camera to play a song for her.

Charlotte plays the piano at a skill level of a fifth-grader at just three-years-old, but she’ll fool you into believing she’s as amazing as an older and more advanced pianist. Her tiny fingers slide along various scales as she plays the song “Allegretto in F,” by J.C.F. Bach like a professional.

The timeless piece is difficult to perform and was written in the 1700s by Johann Christoph Friedrich Bach, who happens to be the ninth son of the famous Johann Sebastian Bach. The complex chords that are integrated into this piano piece are complicated to learn, making Charlotte’s talent all the more impressive.

The way Charlotte graces her fingers against the keys makes it seem like she’s been learning and practicing since she was born. Her talent is showcased through her impressive song selection and the way in which she composes herself while playing.

What did you think of Charlotte? Do you know of anyone her age who is also wonderful on the piano? Let us know and be sure to pass this on to others so they can see her talent, too!
