The world can be an extremely unfair place at times. Too often, terrible things happen to wonderful people with absolutely no explanation. It is during those times that we might find ourselves losing faith in humanity, or fate, or whatever you may call it.

However, it is during those times that humanity tends to shine through and enlighten the beauty in a tragic, horrible situation. This story of three lovely sisters who were all diagnosed with cancer at the same time is one of those stories.

The story begins 20 years before, when the mother of the three sisters was diagnosed with cancer. Cassie, Kristal, and Katie, from Australia, were little girls when their mother began her battle with cancer, reports Inner Strength. The tragedy made the family even closer and thankfully, their mother won her battle with cancer and is now cancer-free.

Then, as fate would have it, in 2014, Katie was diagnosed with bowel cancer. The family was once again ravaged with fear about the future. And, according to Inner Strength, not even six weeks later, Cassie and Kristal were both diagnosed with breast cancer. All three sisters were now experiencing the fear of cancer and the hope of getting well.

According to ScoopWhoop, presenters from the radio show, "The Kyle and Jackie O Show," heard of the terrible plight that had befallen the family and decided to make a difference. They decided to treat the sisters to a special movie screening, but what the sisters didn't know was that the beginning of the movie was a touching tribute to them, to their bravery, and to the lives and love that they shared with each other. The YouTube video which shows the ladies watching the moving tribute to them has gone viral.

This is a perfect example of a situation where someone reached out to someone else during a time of despair in an effort to make life better, even if just for a moment. It is an example for everyone that even the smallest gestures can make a difference in the lives of others.
