Surprisingly, what you name or the name you give your child can sometimes have an impact on what your child will become or what they set to be. So is the case of a young boy from Kansas called Tristan Valentine.

The 8th grader from Summit Trail Middle School decided to make 14th February a special and memorable day for every girl in his school.

It all began with the 8th grader approaching his school principal Sarah Guerrero and proposing this plan, which she happily approved. Once he got the approval, he rounded up a troop which included a 7th grader, Kyan Rice, and a 6th grader, Lincoln Holmes.

The three young men pooled up some cash and were able to buy pink carnations for every young lady in their school. Being young boys, of course, few sacrifices had to be made in order to raise enough cash. In fact, the 7th grader Rice admitted to giving $100 which he had raised after refereeing a soccer match.

Early that morning, Tristan and his mom brought the flowers to school where the other two boys Lincoln and Rice were waiting. From the entrance, the boys handed out flowers to every girl sending them with an encouraging yet beautiful remark.

Ensuring no one was left out, not only the girls who got the pink carnation, but also both male and female staff members with each getting a single flower too.

The principal went ahead and congratulated the boys stating that she is proud of them and that they deserve recognition. True to that, the boys showed one of the most selfless acts of kindness.

"I'm proud of the boys but it's parents like ours that instill these values in them. They deserve all this recognition and more!"

This cannot be debated as the three young men were able to instill confidence and self-belief in the hearts of these young girls. With such an attitude, of which I believe can only be attributed to the bringing up of these young men you can be sure of a better society.

What do you think about what these boys did for the girls and women at their school? Let us know in the comments and pass this along to your friends and family to see what they think, too!
