Thoughtful Dad Hides Seashells On The Beach So He & His Daughter Can Find Them Together

Spending time with your children has always been a tested and proven method for parents to build a strong and positive relationship with their children. Fathers, especially those who devote their time to their kids, especially their daughters, create a safe and nurturing environment for them to learn, grow, and develop. It also helps them foster a deeper connection for them.
In the case of Endri Laska, he is fond of spending quality time with his only daughter. According to his wife, Erisa Mullai, her husband had developed a tradition whenever they came to visit the beach.
In a TikTok video posted by Mullai, she shared the adorable adventure of her husband and daughter as they shoveled tirelessly on the sand to look for seashells. While it is quite a bit of work for some to look for huge seashells on the beach, Endri liked to reduce the stress of looking for an actual one.
"Every time before we go to the beach, my husband buys a big seashell then hides it in the sand so my daughter thinks she found it. Her face is priceless every single time," Mullai wrote in the video posted on TikTok.
The 32-second clip showed Mullai and his daughter digging on the sand together. Not more than an inch deep into the sand, their daughter was visibly surprised to see a part of what seemed to be a huge conch shell. She gushed at the discovery of a huge seashell as they kept on unraveling the natural treasure beneath.
As the father and daughter continued digging, the latter held up to the shell, at a loss for words on how to describe her amazement. The kid inspected the seashell as she showed her mother, all while her jaw dropped because of her disbelief at finding the big conch shell – little did she know that it was conveniently placed and hidden by her father before they started digging it.
Regardless if they found it as it was or if it was placed beforehand, the whole moment brought joy to the daughter and to her parents, by extension. Seeing your kid beaming with a smile is just one of the most precious things any parent could have.
The wholesome moment led commenters and Mullai’s followers on TikTok to share their respective memories with their loved ones where they, at some point, did the same thing as Laska did.
“My then 4yo granddaughter planted some watermelon seeds. A week later I bought a watermelon and put it in her garden for her to find,” a user shared, which prompted Mullai to comment on how sweet that was.
“My older brother took me fishing and I couldn’t catch anything. He put his big fish on my hook to make me think I caught one too. 💖miss him,” another follower recalled.
“My Dad did this with arrowheads every time we went camping..that was 25+ years ago and it’s still a core memory for me!” one commented.
Apart from the heartwarming recollections of the followers, many have commended Laska for doing what they believe would go down as a core memory to his daughter.
“That is the sweetest thing I’ve ever heard. Those memories are going to be priceless,” someone wrote.
