Thor The Bulldog Beat 2,000 Other Dogs To Win The 2019 National Dog Show

Dec 20, 2019 by apost team

Thor the Bulldog just took home Best in Show at Purina's 2019 Dog Show. This stunning pup beat nearly 2,000 other dogs from a variety of almost 200 various AKC recognized breeds, including last year's winner, a whippet called Whiskey, to earn his title. Thor has been showing for just over a year and has already won 27 specialties. What a good boy!

To make it to the final round of this grueling competition, Thor first had to face off against a multitude of tough competitors in his own category, which included such breeds as poodles, dalmatians, and bichon frises.

Thor's owner, Eduardo Paris, who hails from Houston, Texas, told People he believes his dog was able to win the Best in Show title this year due to his structure and movement and feels that his pup really gives his all during competitions.

Despite all his accolades, Paris told the magazine Thor lives a normal life when he isn't involved in competitions. He is a very active dog who enjoys playing with the chihuahua companions in his home and has a sweet temperament which makes him wonderful with children. Now that the competition is over, Paris plans to celebrate their win just relaxing and spending time with his canine companion.
