Something beautiful about animals is that all types and breeds hold different traits that make them unique and special. Some breeds of dog are particularly known for their strength and speed.

These characteristics give them their ability to perform amazingly at agility courses during dog shows. Some dogs are particularly sporty, athletic, and great at following directions.

Other types of dogs may be lazier, slower, and enjoy cuddling more than running around. You may expect to see dogs like Australian shepherds performing at agility courses with brilliant speed and skill.

But what about large Mastiffs? How well do they handle themselves when the pressure is on? Well, they perform at the speed you’d probably expect!

If you’re a fan of lazy dogs, you’ll absolutely fall in love with a dog named Zeus. Zeus is a massive Bullmastiff that came to compete at the Rocky Mountain Cluster Dog show that is held in Denver, Colorado.

A few years ago, Zeus showed up at the agility competition ready to show off his skills. Clearly, a large breed of dog like this isn’t guaranteed to be the frontrunner of the competition. But no one expected the performance he put on!

Zeus entered the ring with as much energy and enthusiasm that most of us have when we first wake up on Monday mornings. Maybe he just needed a cup of coffee to get him going!

Thankfully, Zeus’s performance was recorded so we can all share in the hilarious moment together. Zeus slowly stumbled around the course, hardly even making most of the jumps.

He even knocks over a hurdle at one point!

Clearly, Zeus didn’t let the pressure of the competition impact him. He performed at his own speed, not caring about a timer! It's hilarious to watch Zeus saunter around the arena at a snail's pace.

Although Zeus clearly didn’t get first place at the competition, he took home the win in the hearts of viewers around the globe. Still, for a 120 pound Bullmastiff, he did the best he could with the traits that he was given for his large breed!

You can watch Zeus compete in the adorable video below. What do you think about his slow and steady performance? Let us know in the comments and pass this along to your friends and family to make them laugh, today!
