Jason “Jay” Hardesty, a UPS delivery man in New Orleans, has gone viral after posting selfies with dogs that he encountered along his route. He says in his Instagram biography that he is an "easily entertained UPS delivery driver" and that can clearly be seen by the photos he uploads every Friday!

Frequently seeing delivery trucks in the age of online commerce that we live in is not an unusual occurrence. However, the people driving those trucks and delivering the packages can be rather unusual.

Jay Hardesty is certainly a one of a kind in his field. He enjoys interacting with the dogs he meets because he doesn't own one himself. He also loves taking selfies with them!

Hardesty used to deliver packages in a neighbourhood where the dogs weren't as friendly; they wouldn't even come to the door!

He was recently transferred to another neighborhood made up of younger, single people like himself.

The dogs there were much more friendly and even let Hardesty take selfies with them!

Every Friday, Hardesty posts a new selfie of himself with a dog he meets when going along his route. He posts them on Instagram with the hashtag #pupsofjay on his account @jhardesty.

Currently, he has around 57,000 followers. Hardesty has said that he has a slew of dogs on a waitlist who still need to be posted.

Hardesty is a truly unique person and an amazing delivery man. If you worked with delivering packages, would you take selfies with people's pets? Ask your friends to see what they'd think!
