Wow! Always a fan favorite at competitions, the high kick division always puts on a dazzling display, combining dance and kick maneuvers to impress audiences beyond belief. However, this particular team went above and beyond with an incredible routine that exemplified why people get interested in the high kick division in the first place—intense coordination, concentration, and talent.

This wonderful routine is of no surprise to Texans, as they're pretty well-known for their consistently stunning performances. Which team are we speaking about? The team responsible for this routine is the Carroll High School Emerald Belles, hailing from Southlake, Texas.

The song they choreographed their routine to? A remix of "Sweet Dreams" by the Eurhythmics, a classic dance choice that has been used countless times since its release in the 80s, but never quite like this.

The routine begins with the members of the group acting like machines, being in a constant motion before being stopped by somebody in the middle, who then commands them to all drop seamlessly. They then break out into the song, with intensely choreographed kicks.

What impresses us the most about this routine is the amount of coordination and concentration that must have gone into it to make sure every move was done with the utmost elegance. Even their waves seem entirely natural and there are no visual blips you can see that detract from the fluidity of their motion.

On top of this, the big finale for the number has the team lifting a member up into the air before huddling in the center, becoming motionless.

This is a dance that you simply must see for yourself:
