This Picture Of Kurt Russell And Goldie Hawn With Their Baby Granddaughter Is The Sweetest

If there is any couple that makes the best grandparents, it's probably Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell!

This famous couple just celebrated the birth of their 6th grandchild and they seem to absolutely love being grandparents. The two have been a couple for 35 years now and are proud to have raised a pretty impressive family, including Hawn’s celebrity daughter, Kate Hudson. 

Hudson recently shared a cute picture that proves how much grandma Goldie and grandpa Kurt enjoy this stage of their lives.

The photo was shared on Kate Hudson's Instagram account and it displays Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russel lovingly holding Hudson's 2-month-old daughter, Rani Rose. The little girl is the first child of Hudson and her partner, Danny Fujikawa. She also has two other children from previous relationships, her 7-year-old son Bingham Hawn and her 14-year-old Ryder Russell.

“Grandma and Grandpa duty … or should I say Mr. and Mrs. Claus #IKnewIt,” Hudson commented on her Instagram post of the grandparents holding their granddaughter - their eyes filled with affection.

This caption refers to the 2018 Netflix movie, “The Christmas Chronicles,” in which Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russel play the roles of Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus. What's even better, Hawn’s son and Hudson’s brother, Oliver Hudson, also has a part in the film.

At the film premiere, Russel and Hawn basically brought their whole family along and got an amazing group shot on the red carpet. Oliver Hudson came with his wife, Erinn Barlett, as well as their three children, Bodhi, Wilder, and Rio. Russel and Hawn's son, Wyatt, came along as well.

Even though baby Rani didn't attend the premiere, Russell let everyone know how excited they all are about the new addition to their family!

“She is the sixth grandchild, Kate’s first daughter,” Russell, 67, said in an interview with People. “And along with the other five now, it is obviously a fantastic addition, and it will be fun just to watch her little eyes looking at the lights on the Christmas tree and taking it all in for the first time.”

Next, Russell told the magazine that it's their tradition to drum up the whole family to spend the holidays together in Aspen, Colorado. “Christmas is huge in our family, it’s just something that is really a big deal to us,” he said. “Santa is the centerpiece of Christmas, it is the one time of the year that we are all able to get together for a good, long period of time, and have all of the things that all families have.”
