This Mom Was Told To Cover Up While Breastfeeding Her Daughter, And She Reacted In The Most Hilarious Way

Breastfeeding in public was made legal in the United States in 2018, however not everyone has accepted that. While mother’s can feed their babies in public, not everyone supports it. In fact, many people still have a problem with this very natural act. People are still publicly shaming breastfeeding mothers.

Mothers are being shamed for doing something their bodies were made to do. One mother went viral when she was told to cover up at a restaurant by a man. Carol Lockwood posted the hilarious story on Facebook. When Melanie Dudley was breastfeeding her 4 month old daughter at a restaurant, she was told to cover up.

In response, she threw the blanket over her own head but kept her daughter’s head completely out in the open. In the photo, she can be seen sitting at the restaurant with a blanket comepletely covering her head. She didn’t want to cover her daughter up on a very hot day. The post was shared over 100 thousand times! Everyone was very appreciative of the gesture.
