First, you'll need to have a can of condensed and sweetened milk. Make sure it's sweet, and make sure it's not evaporated milk! Using evaporated milk will give you hot chocolate. You'll know you have the right ingredient when it pours out sweet and thick.

In Aztec culture, chocolate was looked upon with such reverence that people used it as a form of currency. Among the upper class, chocolate was considered a valuable gift. You should give yourself a gift of this tasty treat!

Once you've combined your chocolate and milk, all that's left is to stir. Some people might dream about riches, but you already have all the riches in the world nestled in your treasure of a bowl. Stir, stir, stir!

The easiest route is to microwave your concoction for one minute. Don't lose hope if you don't have a microwave, though. You can double boil it by putting your pot of ingredients on top of another pot filled with boiling water.

After your microwave counts down to zero, what you're left with is a sticky mess that you'd love to lick. But don't let yourself be tempted yet! This fudge still needs to be whipped into shape by your spoon.

If you think it's in your wheelhouse, you might add optional ingredients to give your fudge more flavor and texture. If you're going to add ingredients, make sure to do that right after the fudge comes hot out of the microwave. And don't add too many new flavors at one time! Experiment with one extra ingredient until you find out what you like.

After you've whipped the concoction with your spoon, it will finally begin to look like fudge. But it's not tasting time yet!

Pour the fudge into a baking pan or cookie cutters for fun shapes. Then give it 2 hours to chill in the fridge. After that, all you have to do is flip the pan, and you're ready to eat!
