A viral video with over 130 million views has drawn attention from celebrities of all backgrounds. TV news station CBS called it "simply mind-blowing;" Perez Hilton chimed in, saying "seriously, this guy makes Michael Jackson's moonwalk look like a walk in the park;" while Gather dubbed it: "[the] best dubstep ever seen or performed by anyone--period." This everyday dancer has blown the roof off the dancing community, proving anybody with a dream can reach heights seemingly impossible.

Marquese Scott, the filmmaker and choreographer behind the viral film, is an American dancer with a strong background in pop animation dancing. He creates and records his own music videos which can easily be spotted on the internet. He's also starred in the Ellen DeGeneres Show, who called him "incredible."

On top of that, he performs live at award shows and even has his work showcased on advertisements.

Scott enlisted in the military after high school and danced in all his free time.

He served in the Navy until 2003 and then moved to Atlanta, Georgia, with hopes of seeing his family more often.

After moving to Atlanta, Scott started meeting other dancers and really honed in on his animation skills, uploading videos to YouTube on a regular basis.

During this time period, Scott focused on his dancing skills and continued to perfect his craft.

Before his stardom, Scott worked a job at his neighborhood Walmart. It wasn't until his 53rd YouTube video that he started gaining popularity.

In that video, which came out in 2011, Scott danced to a remix of Foster The People's "Pumped Up Kicks."

He received 1.5 million views in a short time frame of only four days; now, that video has over 130 million views.

Scott currently dances for a team called Dragon House, part of the Xcel Talent Agency.

You can find all of his videos on his YouTube channel: WHZGUD2.

Scott indeed owes his rise to fame all to a dancing competition he enrolled in at his local roller skating rink. He began to consider dancing as a legitimate career and future at his high school in Indianapolis, Indiana, convincing his friends to join their school's dancing club.
