This Dog Reminds Grandmother Who Suffers From Alzheimer’s How To Be Happy Again

Isn’t it very frustrating to try and remember something so desperately, yet you cannot bring it into your mind? You continuously try as hard as you can to remember something but it just evades your brain. It’s hard when this happens every now and again. Now think about how you would feel if this happened to you not only every day but dozens of times per day.

Alzheimer’s disease is a condition where the individual gradually loses their sense of memory. They forget things easily, leading to fear, anger, and frustration. They feel helpless as they slowly begin to depend on others more and more as the disease progresses.

Molly McManimie is a 26-year-old who has been watching this happen to someone she loves. Molly lives with her family in Las Vegas and has been watching as her own grandmother struggles with the disease every day.

She has been this way for two years.

Molly’s grandmother can no longer do many of the little things that she once loved to do, such as baking and cooking. She will forget the ingredients that go into the recipe while she is trying to make it. She also forgets many other things during the day and tends to become very frustrated with herself and her situation.

One way her grandmother releases tension is to color. It helps release pent-up frustration and calms her down, which Molly is very grateful for. But Grandma has always wanted a dog. She kept asking her husband over and over again for one, but he would never agree to get one.

Molly realized that a dog was important to her grandmother for many reasons. For one, it would make her very happy to have her own dog to love after so many years. But dogs serve another special purpose by being therapy dogs. Molly knew that a therapy dog would help her grandmother as she struggled with Alzheimer’s, and a friendly and happy dog could also be a companion for her grandfather.

After she talked it over with her grandfather, he agreed that a dog would be good for his wife. From there, the whole family decided to look for just the right dog for their loved one. They wanted it to be a complete surprise, so they didn’t let her in on their plan while they searched for the perfect canine. They were excited to see how happy she would be when she saw that she got what she had been wishing for.

Everyone is now happier than ever, thanks to Fenton, the little dog. We are also happy that this story had such an amazing ending!
