What One Dad Did

One dad got curious about what his four year old son would be saying to himself during hockey games. The dad could tell that the little boy was muttering, but he could not read the child's lips well enough with the hockey mask on.

The boy's dad decided to put a microphone on the child during a game so that he could hear what the child was muttering.

What the Microphone Recorded

During the hockey game, the microphone captured everything that the child said. Some of the things that the little guy was talking about included wanting to go out for McDonald's food, wanting to take a break and is even heard saying:

"I'm just gonna have a nap!"

It turns out that kids are kind of like grownups in that regard.

The Dad's Reaction

The dad chuckled through the game. He got to listen in real time, and it made the game more fun for him. He had a great time and was glad that he put a microphone on his child.

What Other People Thought

After sharing the recording on YouTube, the dad had a lot of reactions and has been viewed over 7.5 million times. Most people were amused and thought the whole thing was cute and funny. Only a few people commented with a thumbs down or ranted about what the dad did. It was all in good fun, and the dad did not plan to make money off of the recording or to embarrass his child.
