Two contestants from season 18 of The Voice Cedrice and Thunderstorm Artis covered Stay by Rihanna feat. Mikky Ekko during the battle rounds on April 3.

Judge Nick Jonas described the performance as "incredibly intimate".

The Voice showcased one of its most "intimate" performances of all 18 of its seasons on Monday night, at least according to Nick Jonas, a first-time judge on the singing competition. During 'The Battles', Cedrice and Thunderstorm Artis performed a cover of Stay by Rihanna and Mikky Ekko.

The song has been performed on the show numerous times, but nothing quite of this caliber.

In the video, Judge Nick said that this was one of the battles he was most looking forward to seeing. His feedback was highly positive: "You guys did not disappoint. That was out of this world."

"And also, so incredibly intimate. I didn't know if I was supposed to keep watching or turn away," he jested. Kelly chimed in from there saying she couldn't take her eyes off of the two contestants.

Blake Shelton, who has been a judge on the show since season 1, told Cedrice that she was "magical" and "super-talented". Not only were they perfectly in sync as they belted out the haunting melody and moving lyrics, but their chemistry was also one of a kind.

Thunderstorm won that round but Cedrice was stolen by Blake – it's a win-win.
