According to Roy Ayers, an American musician, the reason that music is so beautiful is that it connects people.

This is especially true when it comes to the incredible power that music has when it brings people of all backgrounds together.

It is one of the biggest reasons why music festivals and shows are extremely popular in every culture.

The Mirabilia International Circus and Performing Arts Festival is one place that people of all walks of life can enjoy different art forms and music genres. This particular festival has been performing for twelve years.

The theme for 2018 was “Under Your Skin,” which was a reference to the many emotions we all tend to keep inside. During this popular festival, hundreds of people in Fossano, Italy were blessed to watch this beautiful performance by a man and a woman on a large piano.

The group, known as il Grande Piano, began their journey in 2011 along with six members from Cremona, Italy. Since this date, the group has been showing off their truly unique performance to people all over the world.

Two members of the group, Samuel Courtin and Silvia Zotto, were the ones to get up on the stage during the 2018 Mirabilia Festival. They, along with their violinist Eleonora Cavigliasso, were ready to show off their skills for all of the people gathered around them.

They started off with a few keys on the giant piano as everyone watched closely. As soon as Eleonora began to play her violin, Samuel and Silvia began to play their own music on the piano. The audience was about to hear a familiar song- “Somewhere Over The Rainbow.”

The giant, handmade piano became the stage that the two used for their performance. Silvia and Samuel gracefully hopped and twirled from key to key, never missing a beat. However, they both looked incredibly graceful as they performed. It was truly a performance that no one should miss.

When the last few keys were played, the pair stood next to one another as Eleonora finished her part in the song. The audience cheered and applauded for the romantic performance. It just goes to show how music can touch people from all around the globe. We hope that there will be many more performances from il Grande Piano in the future!
