You’re definitely missing out if you’ve never seen an episode of the popular improv comedy show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” Fronted by Ryan Stiles, Colin Mochrie, and Wayne Brady, the hilarious skit show ran from 1998 to 2007, before receiving a revival on the CW in 2013.

Coming up with comedy on the spot is no easy task, but this troupe will make your stomach and cheeks sore from laughing!

The three main stars compete with a guest actor or actress each episode to win meaningless points based on their performance, hence the tagline “the show where everything’s made up and the points don’t matter!” They make up lyrics to songs, act out scenes with props, and perform as news anchors, just to name a few of their games.

One of the most popular skits involves audience participation. Two members of the audience are chosen at random to supply sound effects for a respective actor, and the result is often hilarious. The mixture of comedic professionals and amateur sound effects is enough to make anyone laugh.

In this particular clip from November 2000, Ryan plays Noah and Colin is his wife. The host, Drew Carey, selects two female members of the audience and gives them microphones so they can help give the sound effects during the scene.
