Even if you've been to a thousand weddings, you've probably never seen anything like this. The carrying of a bouquet is one of the most time-honored traditions of brides at a wedding. But a lovely display of flowers didn't suit the needs of one bride. Instead, she decided to take her all-important walk down the aisle holding a different sort of beautiful arrangement: a bouquet of doughnuts.

When you first look at the bouquet of Paige Kirk of Australia, you might think they are gorgeous white flowers. However, a closer look will reveal that its an assortment of doughnuts, as well as doughnut holes, which have been decorated with white frosting to correspond with her dress. Her bridesmaids had their own flower bouquets.

Kirk, 23, explained that she and her husband thought that it would be a fun twist on a wedding tradition. She received the bouquet from Dessert Boxes, an intriguing new business, based in Australia, which specializes in unorthodox bouquets. This is the first use of a Dessert Boxes bouquet at a wedding.

The guests of their wedding loved the ingenuity, even if some of them couldn't believe their eyes. For Kirk and her partner, Steven, it's an example of how much they like to be unconventional. They're free-spirited individuals and they don't want to conform to society's expectations.

Even if someone does something "traditional" like getting married, they're still allowed to have fun. Having a doughnut bouquet might seem like a silly thing that shouldn't be done in a serious setting like a wedding, but Kirk shows that having a sense of humor about things is greatly important. Plus, she had a bouquet that nobody is ever going to forget. Whether or not you have a sweet tooth, you have to admit that this is incredibly sweet.

A bouquet like this happens once in a blue moon. What's the most interesting thing you've ever seen a bride carry down the aisle? Show this to any friends or family members who love to hear about funny wedding stories.
