The world is full of languages. Most of us only know one or two, and even that can make for some frustrating barriers to communication. But, thankfully, what we can’t say in words we can often get across through the most basic of all languages— body language.

Angelina may only be a few months old, but if her gestures and her tone of voice are any indication, she's 12 months going on 12 years old. Thankfully, the hilarious exchange between Angelina and her mother was caught on camera. In it, mom doesn't speak down to the toddler, rather she prompts a genuine exchange between the two.

The delay in some of Angelina’s responses rivals the timing of even the best comedians, as she processes her mother’s words before nodding in a way that pantomimes, Isn't that what I just said?

Angelina giggles in amusement at her mom, but also has no problem shaking her head or pounding her fist in disagreement.

The hand waves and the head tilts clearly show that despite her lack of vocabulary, Angelina knows what she likes and what she doesn't, and she is not afraid to express it.

And Angelina is not the tiniest bit camera shy. About a third of the way through the video she zeros in on the lens as if noticing it for the first time.

From that point on she is ready for her close up.

At one point, while her mother tries to reason with her, Angelina stares at the camera with her hands in the air as if to tell the audience, Parents just don't understand.

Moments like these are what the internet was made for, and with over nine million views on Facebook, the world seems to agree.

Sometimes life can feel like a relay race, with each of us dashing from one task to the next. But, it’s in these little exchanges that we find real joy, and if Angelina and her mom have taught us anything it’s that we don't always need words to do so.

Check out the video below:

Now it's your turn. Keep spreading Angelina's laughter around the world, and let us know in the comments when was the last time you pressed pause on your life and really listened to those around you? Pay attention because the words they say, and the ones they don't, can speak volumes.
