In our modern lives, it seems like there are so many things that we are required to do. From the moment we are born, our teachers and parents tell us what to do. They teach us what is right and wrong as we grow up.

Even as adults, it seems like our loved ones, bosses and co-workers always want to tell us how to live our lives.

The school system frequently fails artistic and creative children. The entire system is designed to teach students logical ways of thinking in math and science. These are important talents, but there are many people who are unable to be a mathematician or a scientist. The entire system leaves out people who have unique, unusual gifts.

Society teaches children to lock away their creative ingenuity. Even when a child is an amazing musician, our schools train them to become something more normal or analytical. Parents even tell their children that they can never earn a living as an artist or a musician. Because of this, many children give up their dreams to have an average life.

Two animators from Madrid summed up this sentiment in the perfect video. Rafa Cano Mendez and Daniel Martinez Lara created a 7-minute video that shows what happens when you let the daily grind of life drown out your creative nature.

This video is especially important for parents to watch. While we want the best for our kids, a better education or more math classes are not always the right choice. Some kids need room to explore their creative sides.

Instead of forcing children to become what society wants, we have to step back and let them transform into who they are meant to be.

When you watch the film, you will instantly understand why it has achieved such critical acclaim. It sums up everything that is wrong with modern society and our school system.

The entire film was made using a kind of software known as Blender. With this software, Lara and Mendez were able to create 3D renderings.

Since the film was released, it has won numerous awards. Its universal message has gone viral online as people connect to the lost creativity and broken dreams of the film. Hopefully, seeing this film will inspire more children and parents to explore their creative sides.
