Susan Sarandon showed that despite not looking like the typical Hollywood bombshells of the moment, she could still be sexy by exuding confidence. On a personal level, the actress has similarly shown confidence and self-determination in the face of expectations.

Sarandon has been married and divorced once and has had three highly publicized romances with Amurri, Robbins, and Jonathan Bricklin. She also has three children, with her eldest being born when she was 39 years old and her youngest when she was 45.

Sarandon has also been vocal about becoming a mother later in life. She had her first – lifestyle blogger and actress Eva Amurri – in 1985. Sarandon welcomed her second – director and writer, Jack – in 1989 and her third – musician and actor Miles Robbins – in 1992.

According to People Magazine, Sarandon has no regrets about her decision to become a mother. Speaking about the worst advice she was given, the actress shared, “I think it was,‘Don’t have the baby,’ as though it would ruin my career, and I was so old anyway.” She continued, “I had my first baby at 39 and my third at 45, and with each child, (people were) like, ‘Are you crazy? Don’t!’”

In a 2020 interview with People Magazine, Sarandon offered advice to women considering the complicated life of motherhood.

“What I always tell any woman who’s telling me they’re thinking of having a baby is that no matter how involved or well-intentioned your baby daddy or husband is, it is up to you in the beginning,” she told the readers.

Jack is the most prominent among Sarandon's children. Despite not appearing in front of the camera, Jack decides he works best behind. He works as an editor, writer, and director.

According to his IMDB, he had directed over 80 episodes of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” between 2021 and 2022.

He has also world several short films like “Serfs Up,” “Jack & Ellington,” and “VHYes,” which he collaborated with his father, Tim.

Although he leads a private life, Jack occasionally shares posts on his Instagram account

Jack has grown up to become a very respectful man with a lot of respect for his mother. At the height of the Me Too Movement in 2018, Jack posted in solidarity with the victims of sexual harassment.

“For anyone uncomfortable with this wave of female power, welcome to being uncomfortable, the state women have dealt with everyday in modern society. I wish empathy was as easy to access as fear, but it's not,” he said in his post. “To my mom, thank you for holding me with love and for dressing me up in drag as young boy and for reading me stories and without fail crying at the endings.”

In November 2023, Jack shared a satirical video titled "day in the life as a nepo baby," showcasing a day in his life as the son of a celebrity. The video shows Jack meditating in front of his mother’s huge photo before preparing to go to his mother’s New York City apartment. As he arrived, he greeted his “annoyed” mother and gave her some coffee for the day.

Elsewhere in the video, Jack jokingly puts on a robe to start their ceremony to “drain talent” from his talented mother’s soul. Despite being 77, Sarandon is still game for goofing off with her eldest son.
