One of Queen's most iconic songs is "Bohemian Rhapsody." It's been parodied in the film "Wayne's World." It's been covered countless times. One man even managed to sound exactly like Queen lead singer Freddie Mercury. That's no small feat: Freddie is a unique icon himself.

Singer Marc Martel decided to jump on the Queen tribute bandwagon. This November saw the release of the biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, which chronicles Queen's rise to fame and Freddie's lasting influence.

Freddie's voice is pretty hard to imitate, but Marc has actually succeeded. It helps that he's had a long career in music. Marc is a member of the Canadian rock group Downhere. His side project is a YouTube channel full of covers.

Marc's cover of the Queen hit "Somebody to Love" won a contest that Queen organized awhile ago. It earned him a spot in the official tribute show "The Queen Extravaganza." That show's success inspired Marc to create another tribute show called "The Ultimate Queen Celebration."

Marc even lent his vocals to the Bohemian Rhapsody film. Learning the song was a challenge. It combines multiple genres in one song. Marc said that learning the middle part was particularly difficult.

Marc has beautifully captured Freddie's spirit. He was dramatic, flamboyant, and serious all at the same time. He even hit those incredibly high notes that no one else but Freddie has been able to do. Well done, Marc! Freddie truly lives on. Send this to your family and friends and make them feel nostalgic!
