Season 12 of The Voice was one of the most memorable of all, thanks to some amazing vocal talent as well as the humorous verbal exchanges between rocker Adam Levine and country talent Blake Shelton.

If you missed the first clips from this season, you may have missed one of the best acoustic performances to date: and it wasn’t from a contestant!

Adam Levine and Blake Shelton were joined by Gwen Stefani and Alicia Keys, and the end result was magical. Levine and Shelton played guitar, with Keys accompanying them on piano. The quartet were comfortably arranged in a half-circle, ensuring eye contact between the four performers the whole time.

Crooning into old-fashioned style microphones, they performed a laid-back version of the popular hit song “Waterfalls”.
