Are you ready to hear the story of Eugene Bostick, an 82-year-old man who spends his retirement taking care of abused animals? One of the amazing ways he treats them is by taking them for rides on a vehicle that looks like it should be in a children’s book!

Bostick officially retired more than 15 years ago, but he found his calling when he started his “dog train”- an awesome series of nine small carts that he pulls by tractor.

In these carts are his foster dogs that he loves to pull around town!

Bostick told us that people started to dump dogs on his dead-end street. He and his brother would find starving, neglected dogs on their property, so they started to take care of them. They took them in, fed them, and took them all to see a local veterinarian to get them spayed or neutered.

Bostick owns a lot of property so he has been able to take in multiple dogs. After some time, he had an inspiration- what if he could come up with transportation that would allow the dogs to visit around town?

He remembered seeing a guy who had carts attached to a tractor in order to pull rocks. So, being a decent welder, Bostick set to work. He took plastic barrels, cut out holes for the dogs, attached wheels on them, and then tied them all together.

He pulls the dog train with his small tractor all over the town. He can take nine dogs out at once, and from the sound of the video, they absolutely love it!

Bostick says they come running when they hear the tractor starting up. They jump in on their own and are ready to go!

We bet you think this is just darling! Please leave a comment and be sure to pass it on to anyone who loves dogs!
