It can often be challenging to find joy and hope while serving your country. The long days and sorrow of a world filled war can really test one's faith in God and humankind.

However, the hope of the Lord is what sustains so many of the military members through their days of darkness. It is no surprise that these people rely on their faith to get them through.

Members of the U.S. Marines of Camp Pendleton in Southern California understand that retaining a strong belief in God can be of huge benefit while serving the country. In 2014, a group of these service members was recorded on tape singing their hearts out to worship the Lord during a Christian service.

Four years later and the video is still being spread all over the internet. The men and women are seen worshipping together while swaying their hands and clapping in unison. The lyrics of, "these are the says of Elijah, declaring the Word of the Lord” echo through the Caruso Memorial Chapel as they worship with unbridled passion and joy.

This video certainly is not the first time that these Marines have been caught on tape worshipping through song. This next video shows a group of them raising their hands high to God.

Both videos demonstrate the love that these military members have for both their country and for God. This unbridled joy should be spread around the country so that everyone can see just how passionate the people that serve us are.
