These Caramel Snickerdoodles Taste Like Little Bits Of Heaven

You are going to want these in your mouth even more than any moths want to fuse themselves into lamps – and the best part is, they can be thrown together fast enough to satisfy that late night craving. Or three, late night cravings. The snack you always want to find instead of your stale potato chips: caramel snickerdoodle cookies.

Everything you need to make them can literally fit under one arm and be paid for on a college student budget: crescent rolls, soft caramels, and cinnamon sugar. Think velvet caramel squares, wrapped in fluffy dough like a gift waiting to be torn open on Christmas morning except then—it's rolled in cinnamon sugar to really bring it to the next level.

Starting with the dough, you lay the triangle cut-outs flat and dot each with a single caramel square. Gently roll them to form a ball, and then dunk them in cinnamon sugar until your eyes twinkle like the sweet granules and you almost want to eat them raw (but don't).

Next, space them evenly across a sheet pan and bake for about 12 minutes. Try not to watch them bake the entire time they're in there. It will be tempting. They will be hot once removed and if you want to continue to have taste buds, make sure to let them cool before eating the entire pan.
