Darkness was spreading from the horizon beside the Church of All Saints located in Omsk, Russia.

The orange glow from dusk was disappearing rapidly, but something else was about to bring light to the night.

It was a surprising group of beautiful dancers, putting their own spin on a popular Russian folk dancing style with their unique costumes. We bet you’ve never seen anything like this.

Although these dancers are much like those from the Berezka Ensemble, their outfits are an absolutely amazing sight to witness and extremely rare. Those from other countries or those unfamiliar with Russian culture may not have any idea that this type of dance routine and costuming even exists!

Although their LED ensembles were created for a special reason, they were shared for everyone, even those across the world, to marvel at.

This group of women was performing to “Beyond the River” by the group Folkbeat. Although folate ballet dancing is hard to perform, these dancers managed to do it in perfect harmony with style and grace, all while trailing their floor-length dresses with them.

It appears as if the women are floating across the brick ground, and their feet cannot be seen until they lift their arms to create a circle formation.

They also interlock their handkerchiefs. This type of floating step dancing was popularized first by the Berezka Ensemble but hails from Russian culture in general. Performing on their toes, dancers have to learn this difficult and troublesome move from wearing pointe shoes that can be painful to dance in.

The gowns that these women were wearing are glowing red in color and sweep across the ground gracefully as they do their routine. The contrast of the white bell sleeves glows as the camera follows their every move. As an added touch, they also wore amazing glowing headbands that shined through the darkness of the sky.

For hair, they utilized matching handkerchiefs as the ones they carried for the routine. The dancers are angelic in nature, and remind audiences of Christmas with the pairing of glowing red and white for their outfits.

The routine overall is magical in nature, as the women gracefully sweep back and forth with their majestic gowns, looking like delicate glowing orbs. You have to see this choreography and costuming for yourself to believe it!
