The World's Most Terrifying Road Has Not One, But TWO Waterfalls To Drive Through

Americans are often faulted for taking many things for granted. The phrase “first world problems” exists largely because of us! It is so easy to lose sight of what real problems can be like when you live a life of relative ease and convenience. There’s nothing wrong with being this way, but a little awareness about it goes a long way.

One first world problem for many Americans is road conditions. Standards of what makes a “good” or “bad” road vary from state to state, but in some places it’s fair to say that the roads really are in bad condition, by American standards as a whole.

There are other places around the world, though, that really put things like supposedly poor road conditions into a much different perspective. No American drives around worried that the roads pose a significant threat to their personal safety. However, some countries around the world would love to have even the poorest of American roads.

Appreciation for things like fairly well paved roads that are well out of the path of danger is all about point of view. To help you keep things in perspective, we’re taking you from the best roads in the world to one of the worst you can imagine--and it’s real.

The clip below is the insane reality that exists on one terrifying road in Nepal. This narrow, unpaved road is perched perilously on the steep mountainside with sharp turns, but that is only the beginning of the insanity. Then the road winds its way directly through--yes, THROUGH--one waterfall and then a second waterfall! The water cascades off the edge of the mountain road, threatening to take travelers along with it.

Thankfully, the travelers in this particular video appear to be experienced in traversing this particular road, but anyone without experience might think twice before attempting this road. We certainly would! If you do choose to brave this road, we would recommend driving a heavily weighted vehicle.

Would you be brave enough to travel through these waterfalls? Pass this along to your friends to see who would be brave enough--or foolish enough--to drive this perilous mountain road!
