You can rest easily and calmly when you know that you don't owe anyone. So, settle your debts as quickly as possible and try your best to not accumulate any at all.

Even if the promise seems insignificant to you, it may mean a lot to the other person. So, always keep your word. If you know from the beginning that you won't be able to complete the task or stick to your promise, do not make the commitment in the first place! This way there will be transparency on both sides, and you won't have a heavy conscience when you keep pushing off the promise.

Of course, you cannot just avoid unpleasant tasks and always shirk your responsibilities. However, you should be able to know when it is time to hand off an difficult assignment or delegate it to someone else. It is important to be able to identify when a project is only draining you of time and energy when there are other tasks that need you to be able to tackle them with a clear mind.

Life today is fast-paced, and too often people only focus on the essential things they must do and not on themselves. So, don't forget to take a moment of your time to just be with yourself and rest. This will help you return to work and be a lot more motivated to tackle some of those less pleasant tasks.

Cleaning up and organizing

Part ways with things that just take up space in your mind that have no real purpose. Take the time to take a real inventory of your belongings, and make tough decisions about the things you don't really use or truly don't need in your life anymore. You need to make sure that the only items you're bringing with you into your future have meaning and relevance to you. Leave everything else in your past, and let go of the burden.
