The Obamas Lead Number One Spot As The Most Admired People In The U.S. According To YouGov Poll

Former POTUS Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama are topping the charts of the most admired people in the U.S. Michelle came in first place in the 'World's Most Admired' category as well knocking Angelina Jolie out of the top spot.

The survey, which is conducted by Yougov, asked around 42,000 people in 41 different countries who they admire most in their own country and around the globe. 

YouGov is a data collection company that at its core is a “global online community, where millions of people and thousands of political, cultural and commercial organizations engage in a continuous conversation about their beliefs, behaviors, and brands.”

The firm conducts surveys and polls from the on-tap respondents they have vetted and analyzed. In their most recent international survey, they wanted to find out who the U.S's most admired man and woman was.  

Barack Obama came in first in the men's category as President Donald Trump trailed a close second. Clint Eastwood took the third spot while Microsoft found Bill Gates and entertainer Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson came in fourth and fifth.

Michelle Obama dominated the charts in both the U.S. category and the world category coming in first. In the U.S. poll, Michelle was followed by First Lady Melania Trump, talk show comedian Ellen DeGeneres, and Queen Elizabeth II.

The former FLOTUS also clenched the number spot from Angelina Jolie who was bumped down to third most admired in the world with Oprah Winfrey taking the second-place spot.
