Joining Hugh Bonneville who plays Lord Grantham, the trailer shows that fan favorites all return with the exception of Lily James. Dame Maggie Smith already steals several scenes in the trailer as Violet Crawley, Michelle Dockery didn’t have a hair out of place as Lady Mary, her sister Lady Edith (Laura Carmichael) returns, and their sister's widower Tom Branson (Allen Leech) seems to have a love story with a maid. It appears that even Carson (Jim Carter) rejoins the team!

The trailer also shows mainstay scenes for the show including beautiful shots of the Crawleys’ home from the main entrance hall to Mrs. Pattmore’s immaculate kitchen.
