Arat Montoya lives in Portland, Oregon and has a job of which everyone should be jealous. Based in the neighborhood of West Linn, Montoya has figured out a way to turn his love for dogs into a fulltime occupation.

Each morning, Montoya wakes up at 7 a.m. and picks up a group of dogs while their owners go to work. After a day full of fun and excitement, Montoya drops the dogs off at home around 2 p.m. Montoya runs a successful doggy daycare and never wants to miss a day of work.

Arat Montoya is a 36-year-old who was originally born in Mexico. His family moved to Canby when Montoya was 16. Although Montoya's family worked in a bakery, he wasn't planning to enter into the family business.

After his father asked about his son's future in the business, Montoya revealed his love for dogs. Following this confession, he started working at a local animal shelter called the Dog Club.

Unfortunately, the business eventually closed and Montoya was unemployed once again. He had to decide between finding another job or following his passion. Instead of working at his family's bakery, Montoya decided not to give up on his dream.

He knew that all of the services offered at the original business could be provided from his vehicle.

In 2016, Montoya discovered that his wife was pregnant. In the midst of all of the excitement and exhilaration, Montoya knew that his business would have to grow in order to support a new baby. It's no secret that newborns are expensive.

Montoya drove his Scion x8 to a local shop and had some black stripes added along the sides. He also added a decal that said, "Doggie School Bus". After parking the stylish car in front of his home, Montoya simply waited for the customers to arrive.

Within two weeks, Montoya already had 16 clients who were eager to use his services. Montoya's affordable prices are one of the many reasons why clients are drawn to his business.

Unlike the more expensive options, the "Doggie School Bus" only costs $30 per day, including drop-off and pick-up within an area of five miles. After the pick-up in the morning, Montoya drives the dogs to a five-acre property owned by a friend. Here, the puppies play all day together.
