We all have a different purpose in life, and some people feel like they were put onto this earth to have children of their own.

In fact, having babies is the biggest blessing that many people can even think of.

However, it can be heartbreaking when you head to the doctor only to learn that you are unable to have your own children. Thankfully, with all of today’s technological advancements, we are able to use other methods to have children.

Surrogacy is an important part of today’s fertility world, and many people use it in order to have children of their own while avoiding the risks that come with actually carrying the child for 9 months.

Those who are surrogates are selfless, responsible and caring individuals that will go the extra mile to make another family happy. But one surrogate took things to an entirely different level.

Didi Perry, a mother of three children residing in Dallas, Texas, knew that her family was utterly and totally complete. However, she enjoyed pregnancy so much that she felt like she could provide her body to another family seeking to have children.

Didi’s surrogacy journey began a decade ago in 2009. Although she had stopped having children of her own sixteen years prior, she decided that it was time to start helping others.

"I wasn’t trying to become rich from it. It was important that I made a difference in their lives. As long as no money had to come out of my pocket, I didn’t mind.", she told the Sun

Through the process of seeking out someone to carry a child for, she was matched as a surrogate for a couple that was unable to conceive naturally. Didi didn’t plan on becoming a surrogate for a second time after the initial process, but life took her in a direction she never saw coming.

When Didi gave birth and the couple she was providing surrogacy for held their child for the first time, she knew that this was her life’s mission. She felt like she had finally found her purpose, and knew that she couldn’t stop at just one surrogate child.

Those who carry children via surrogacy rarely continue providing these services after they reach the age of 40, and those looking for a surrogate typically want someone younger.

But Didi continued her mission of being a surrogate, and for the next 8 years, she dedicated her life to this wonderful service. Her last surrogate child was even born right before her 50th birthday!
