Texas Daycare Owner Arrested For Restraining Children And Locking Them In Closet For Hours

It’s a nightmare when you find out you’ve been leaving your child at a daycare center that put your little one in danger.

When the children who went to Becky’s Home Child Care Center in Texas would scream and cry in fear when they knew their parent was taking them there, people became suspicious.

Since the parents of a 6-month-old child felt that their little boy’s behavior indicated something wasn’t right, they decided to connect a camera to their baby’s car seat. What showed on the camera was a video of the owner of the daycare center, Rebecca Anderson, pulling the child by the bib he was wearing and putting something in his mouth with a syringe.

The video was proof of maltreatment, and when the cops went to Ms. Anderson’s house to investigate, they found children secured to car seats, some of which were confined to a closet in darkness. The officers stated that shoelaces were found wrapped around the kids’ throats, and some of the laces were knotted so tightly, cutting them off was necessary.

The owner of the daycare center told the police she was caring for five kids, but the cops found a total of nine when they searched the premises. She said that the children were tied to prevent them from moving around, and that they frequently remained that way for seven hours tops every day.

The daycare center owner also stated that there were times when she would give the little ones Tylenol, explaining that it helped simplify her work.

Rebecca Anderson was sent to jail in Dallas County September 16th. She was placed there for endangerment of a child. The kids at the center were sent to a Dallas hospital for children, and Becky’s Home Child Care Center was closed.
